in english were lyk suppose 2 b reading this book called tha dons. its 2 big though…so sum of us in tha class complained bcoz we cant read that much and tha book is boring as! so we got a new book and mine is a gwd size and itz pretti interesting. but rite now i wish i waz at home bcoz im sik and i cant b bothered being here. my frends r kool so they make it worthwhile bein here! ne ways … l8ta pple

2dai we did sum activity on grammar. it was pretty boring i thought, but i tried 2 hav sum fun wit tha adjectives activity but half tha tym tha thing wouldnt let me!

teachers to me are expected to be fun, nice and smart but you no sometimes thats not always the case! Good students are probably students that do their work and listen to the teacher and get good grades and stuff; but we all need to have fun and sometimes that just gets us into trouble. for example when we are in a classroom and the teacher is reading or something then we are on a high and we are laughing and talking and stuff the teachers yell at us for having fun. that is probably because they want as to learn and listen to them. But we all find that hard because most of the topics like english, sose, french etc are uninteresting to us! Love sar xoxoxo

8.6 Cake Stall: 

Today my class – 8.6 held a cake stall at Mater Christi to raise money for the people in detention centres. We sold cakes, muffins, cookies and more. People were very generous and they donated money as well as buying cakes. In the end we ended up raising $189.10; which was a great achievement for us! Also, during the year we are going to raise even more money so that we are able to buy items that the people in the detention centres need. And Hopefully it will be a success. Sarah xoxoxoxoxo 

Amy’s journey starts when she goes to Canada to live with her Dad.

She starts off not getting along with her Dad but during her journey with the geese she starts to learn more about her Dad and starts to like him more because she knows what he is like!

It is good that her Dad helped her look after the geese! And its good that they become close after a long time of seperation.

Amy had to have hope and faith in her Dad to be able to get the geese to fly south.

Faith - is when she beleives that her father can lead her the right way and show her how to fly!

Hope - is when she hopes that flying the geese south will be a success.

They are a big factor in this process!

But her journey has only just began!!!

Year 8 is so much better then year 7! Especially coz we r familliar wif the skool.

I have so many new friends, its so good. I think i have also become a better person in the way that i treat people and i think my school work is going well so far.

I dont really lyk skool because of some of the teachers and its so strict but its awesum havin frends around coz they r kool as and they support u in anything and everythin!

But i also think that i have just as much fun if not more in year 8. Because we r just tha best! lol. joking.

♥☻♣♠○8 Alive 2006 ♥☻♠♣○

Once a term the Year Eights at Mater Christi have 8 Alive for a week instead of Camp. We get to wear free dress for the whole week and get to hang around with our friends!

Its fun being with your friends! During the first week of 8 Alive for 2006 we went to the Victorian Market in the City. It was really fun because we took the train there and back, we shopped for hours and we were with our friends! It was great!

Some of the other activities we did during the week were M-Power, which is a girl that is tolerant, honest, Friendly etc but she isnt perfect. M-Power stands for Empowered girl.

Also during the week a band “The Darlow Show” came to school and played songs to the year eights and the year elevens. It was really good.

I really enjoyed 8 Alive and i cant wait for our next week of fun and games!
